De Balloohoeve
A farm on the edge of Balloo with arable land and beef cattle, a care farm, a farm shop with tea room and a farm campsite.
De Balloohoeve is a medium-sized farm with beef cattle and arable land on the edge of the village of Balloo. It is also a care farm: on weekdays and Saturdays people referred for day activities, from children to the elderly, work on the farm with the support of its own team.
The farm shop, which also sells organic produce, has a tea room and the farm makes its own ice cream. There are also horses and a riding hall.
The farm campsite has pitches with electricity, furnished safari tents and a cottage, and guests can bring their own horse. The campsite lies on cycling and walking routes, among them the Pieterpad long-distance trail. Opening times and prices are on the De Balloohoeve website.
