Tichelhoes
The meeting hall of the Jacobuskerk congregation on the Hunebedweg, a short walk from the church, where the Dorpssoep is held on the third Thursday of every month.
The Tichelhoes on the Hunebedweg belongs to the Jacobuskerk congregation of Rolde and is a short walk from the Jacobuskerk. The congregation uses it as a meeting hall, and other organisations sometimes hold their activities there.
On the third Thursday of every month, except in July and August, villagers eat soup together here at the Dorpssoep (village soup), which the church's diaconate started in 2018 after a national initiative. There are always two soups, one without meat, with bread and a simple dessert. Guests are welcome from half past five, the soup is served at six, and you need to sign up beforehand. Now and then the Dorpssoep moves to MFC Boerhoorn.
