Prolander shows design for new nature area near Anreep in Rolde

Prolander is holding a drop-in evening on Monday 13 October about its design for a new nature area between Anreep and the N33. Anyone interested can drop in between 7.30pm and 9pm at the Huis van de Drentsche Aa, Asserstraat 63 in Rolde.

There, 36 hectares of farmland will become nature, as an extension of the Drentsche Aa stream valley and as part of the Natuurnetwerk Nederland, the national network of nature areas. The area lies between the es of Anreep, the hamlet’s old arable field by Achterweg, and the N33, and is bounded on the other sides by the Anreep road and the Amerdiep stream. Prolander is doing the work for the province of Drenthe.

After a first drop-in meeting in October 2024, the draft layout plan is now ready. On the evening, Prolander staff will explain it at information boards and show which steps are still to come before work begins. Visitors can ask questions and comment on the plan. After the evening, Prolander will put the design on the Anreep project website.
